Through this we demonstrate that it is possible to avoid some of the most serious and recurrent breakdowns suffered by this type of machines, caused by unbalanced loads, over-use, under-use, or misuse by the customer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Our client is a machinery rental company with a national presence and a fleet of more than 250 generators spread throughout the country. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-12104 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/200-300kva2.jpg\" alt=\"generator fleet management\" width=\"413\" height=\"275\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/200-300kva2.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/200-300kva2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/200-300kva2-570x380.jpg 570w, https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/200-300kva2-380x254.jpg 380w, https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/200-300kva2-285x190.jpg 285w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 413px) 100vw, 413px\" \/>Therefore, for our client it was important to have their fleet of generators monitored and ensure that they work according to the parameters defined by the manufacturer, as well as to have immediate information on any malfunction of the machine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">In this first phase we have defined the most relevant parameters to monitor and the corresponding alarms and reports necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the machine, being able to know through these:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Over use per load much higher than recommended.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Under-utilization per load much lower than recommended.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Unbalanced loads.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Immediate detection of diesel engine alternator failure.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Lack of fuel.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Excess temperature, or pressure in the engine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Remote fault diagnosis codes<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12107\" src=\"https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2023-02-24_20-37-19-Platofrf-generators.jpg\" alt=\"Generator fleet control\" width=\"1916\" height=\"895\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2023-02-24_20-37-19-Platofrf-generators.jpg 1916w, https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2023-02-24_20-37-19-Platofrf-generators-768x359.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bsmart.global\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2023-02-24_20-37-19-Platofrf-generators-1536x717.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1916px) 100vw, 1916px\" \/>All the above conditions, which can cause a serious fault in the generator, can be reported automatically through the monitoring and control of generators. WhatsApp, Telegram, App, Mail, SMS, or any other electronic means are valid channels to report any anomaly. In a second phase, and if the dangerous situation persists, the system is able to slow down and stop the machine automatically. In this way, it is not only possible to monitor the machine and document everything that is happening with it, but also to stop it and avoid major breakdowns.
